These photos are the result of an assignment in “Gathering Light,” a year-long creative exploration with Laura Valenti (see home page for her web address). In late March 2024, Laura charged students with allowing “the wacky in” with our photography, to move beyond the commonplace. These images, some of which are in-camera overlays, some double exposures created using the Snapseed app, are the result. The textures used are all hand-created or natural elements.
